- Lyab-i-Hauz: The Lyabi houz (meaning) by the pond served as one of the means of life by providing pure water till it get bombed and once vibrant and flowing water of lyabi houz fell silent.
Lyabi houz is surrounded by 2 madrasah and one Xonaqoh, oldest one being the Kukaldosh madrasah. - Trading Domes: Trading domes used to be a place where people exchanged money, buy books or head dresses, whis still operates, and Buy or trade jewelries.
- Magoki attori mosque belonging to 11th century was initially used as a religious supplies shop.
- Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasah: Abdulazizkhon Madrass stands out with its specific design such as vibrant colors, geometrical shape of the king in mehrab.
- Ulugbek Madrasah: Ulugbek Madrasah is One of the three madrasah built by Mirzo Ulugbek, the grandson of Amir Temur in the 15th century.
- Great Minaret of the Kalon: Minaret Kalon or The Big Tower once used as a symbol of bukhara has been standing tall for 900 years, survived and witnessed many wars, including the Bombings of Russian empire in 1920.
- Mir-i-Arab Madrasa: Miri arab madrasah Built by a sheikh Abdullah Yamani, in the 16th century is the only madrasah in central Asia that functioned after world war two. It still operates as a madrasah for male students.
- Great Minaret of the Kalon: Big Mosque 16th century
- Ark of Bukhara: Ark City in the city was the winter palace of bukharian rulers.
- Bolo Hauz Mosque: Bolo houz mosque is from 17th century. Still functioning
